A Convenient Foods and Beverages Company is a global leader in convenient foods and beverages with roots in the industry that go as far back as 1898. The company comprises seven divisions with subdivisions in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, a subdivision in the Middle East and South Asia, one in the Asia Pacific, and another one managing Australia/New Zealand and China. All these divisions have their history and operate semi-independently.
Our client was facing declining growth rates. We identified that one of the reasons for this factor was that their approval process took longer than two days. The second reason complicating the issue was inefficiencies in their delivery network, resulting in escalating fuel costs and complaints from their dealer network. These issues got further complicated by continuous customer demands for their favorite products in the local stores on time. We also recognized that our client also needed to optimize its manufacturing supply chain to accommodate its growing needs.
